Preparing your space for a KAP session
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy works best when your environment feels safe, intentional, and free from distraction. This guide helps you set up — whether you're coming to our Williamsburg office or joining virtually from home.
Set and Setting
In KAP, your environment is part of the therapy. Research consistently shows that a calm, intentional space reduces anxiety, deepens introspection, and improves outcomes. A dosing session typically involves reclining with an eye mask and headphones for about 45 minutes — what surrounds you matters.
