As an openly gay first-generation Hispanic American (born/raised in the Bronx, NY), my work is driven by helping others of all (especially marginalized) populations/communities reach their maximum health. Equity, equality, and social advocacy are the foundations for me. Working from a combination of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion-focused approaches, the goal is to have clients be active participants in their sessions and growth. My goal is to facilitate a safe yet effective environment.

As a current master’s level mental health counseling student interning at Cabezas Therapy. I value and strive to uphold the purpose of effective counseling rooted in diversity, collaboration, support, and safety.
